Involvement: I interned at Fox Sports Live with the production team, and I am a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
What was the most valuable thing you learned in JOUR 309? Most valuable thing I learned was learning HTML Code-- and creating my own page. It was something I thought I would never be able to do-- and I have found that coding is actually kind of Fun!!
What is your dream job? My dream job would be to be a sideline reporter for ESPN or Fox Sports. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to shadow a reporter that covered USC football games and it was such and awesome experience. Sprinting out onto the and field and interviewing the players and coaches after a big win, you could feel the energy and the tenacity these players had, that for me would be a dream job.

What was the most valuable thing you learned in JOUR 309? Learning about online media is so important. In today's society, we can't help but notice how prevalent social media and the Internet are. Being able to contribute to both are essential to being a journalist. I had very little experience with the web before this class, and now I understand copyright, can create my own website and have grasped the importance of online media.
What is your dream job? My dream job is to be a sideline reporter, whether for ESPN, Fox News, or one of my favorite teams like the 49ers or New York Yankees.

What was the most valuable thing you learned in JOUR 309? Learning basic HTML in J309 was incredibly valuable to my career in journalism. With so much of the industry going digital, coding skills are highly sought after by prospective employers.

What is your dream job? My dream job is to anchor ESPN’s SportsCenter.

What was the most valuable thing you learned in JOUR 309? Journalists are constantly vying for people’s attention and viewers have come to expect more out of a story. So you better produce ethically and accurate produce. Therefore it’s not only important to provide them with a print story, but to present it in appealing and interactive ways. In this digital revolution, you have to make your story more memorable compared to the rest.
What is your dream job? First working as a multimedia reporter at a legacy newspaper and moving my way up to becoming the executive editor of a magazine.

What was the most valuable thing you learned in JOUR 309? JOUR 309 taught me that digital journalism is so much more than just an article on a website or a 140 character tweet. I learned so much about the awesome web tools and apps that we can use to make our online content so much more interesting and engaging for readers.
What is your dream job? My dream job is to become a researcher or assistant producer for a morning news/talk show.
